Who doesn’t love a hot pink cocktail?

Ingredients:

Hibiscus Simple Syrup

Margarita (makes 1)

  • 2 oz blanco tequila

  • 1 oz lime juice

  • 1 oz hibiscus simple syrup

  • ½ oz agave

  • ½ oz Cointreau

Margarita (batch measurements, makes about 8 cocktails)

  • 2 cups blanco tequila

  • 1 cup lime juice

  • 1 cup hibiscus simple syrup

  • ⅓ cups water

  • ½ cup agave

  • ½ cup Cointreau

Garnish ideas: tajín/salt rim, lime slice, edible flowers

Step 1

Add water, sugar, and dried hibiscus flowers to a pot and bring to a boil.

Step 2

Once boiling, turn the heat down and let simmer for 15-20 minutes. Turn the heat off and let cool completely before straining.

Hauste hint: store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 weeks

Step 3

Assemble your margs! Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice, shake well for 15 seconds, then strain over a glass with fresh ice!

hauste hint: if making a batch, add ice to each glass (not the pitcher) so the cocktail DOESN'T get watered down!

Cheers!
