Hot Take: Puppy Party

The Vibe

We’re extra dog moms through and through… aka we would do anything for our fur babies (like throw a birthday party). To be honest, we’ll use any excuse to throw an aesthetic party with friends. Plus, how else will IG know you’re a good dog parent?

When planning my pup’s 1st birthday last year, I struggled with finding inspo for the neutral vibe I was going for. We’ve scoured the internet to find the least-cheugy party supplies and ideas.

The Food

For the humans:

As I stated earlier, we are extra and proud. So for my dog Olive’s 1st birthday party, I went to Starbucks and asked for a few espresso cups. Then when it was time for dessert, I added some whipped cream for a DIY pup cup. She was the talk of the dog park.

Another pup-friendly dessert option are these Pumpkin Peanut Butter Treats

Keep them busy with this Enrichment Ice Cube Cake!

For the dogs:

For dessert, buy some cupcakes from your local bakery (or our guilty pleasure, Nothing Bundt Cakes Bundtinis). Then add a little puppy figurine (linked under The Look) on top and boom! custom cupcakes!

The Music

The Look

As always, the point of these Hot Takes is to find less-cheugy versions. We searched high and low for the perfect puppy party vibe and here are some links to help! (We thrifted glass jars and used the tennis balls as decor!)
